Criado há 35 anos (posto em prática no Brasil, Cabo Verde e São Tomé há 19 anos; Portugal, Guiné-Bissau, e Timor-Leste há 14 anos; Moçambique há 7 anos). O Acordo Ortográfico – adiante AO90 – continua a ser epicentro de discussões. Angola será o último Estado membro da comunidade a ratificar o AO90, quando isso acontecer. Apesar de ter feito parte do grupo signatário que, em 16 de Dezembro de 1990, subscreveu o documento, elaborado pela Academia de Ciência de Lisboa e pela Academia Brasileira de Letras, sobre uniformização ortográfica.

Boa tarde. Acaba de sair o Nº 1 da “Academia”, Revista da Academia Angolana de Letras. Um artigo meu “Colonialidade, a sombra do colonialismo. Como reconstruir o futuro?” pretende ser um contributo para um pensamento mais autêntico e genuíno dos povos que se libertaram do colonialismo, mas que ainda estão ‘contaminados’ pelos seus efeitos, a chamada ‘colonialidade’.
