One theory Ive heard is that the protruding stones are petrified wood. Other theories? Thoughts?

No way these megaliths can have sometimes 18 corners perfectly shaped mm size rounded corners with NO toolmarks while also being fully rounded in a corner giving it a tubelike appearance..no f-Ing way. It’s been proven and tested that these are some sort of reconstituted stone or unknown concrete type mixture that we still can’t replicate today. Hell we can’t even duplicate the Roman underwater concrete mix much less these ancient puzzles.
A lot has been lost in this area that’s for sure.
