Producer George Martin, who helped the Beatles revolutionize rock ‘n’ roll, has died at the age of 90. Former Beatle Ringo Starr broke the news on Twitter, paying tribute with “God bless George Martin” and “Thank you for all your love and kindness.” Born in London, England, Martin produced over 700 records during the course of his life, working with everyone from Gerry & the Pacemakers and Kenny Rogers to Kate Bush and Elton John. But it was with the Beatles that he would have his greatest successes.
