UGLY CITY BECAME BEAUTIFUL AGAIN 
The old square in 1978 and today. Hildesheim in Germany was very beautiful before WWII. The city was completely destroyed in the war and was later rebuilt with boring architecture. Y

The city was completely destroyed in the war and was later rebuilt with boring architecture. Years passed and the inhabitants missed their historical square. The ugly houses were then demolished or rebuilt and some of the old buildings were reconstructed. In which square would you rather drink coffee?
