THE ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING INCAIC

The Incas practiced an engineering and architecture that to this day amazes the world. From blocks that fit like legos, passing through mathematical precision alignments, cycloped-size blocks, flower-grouped stones, small-carved tubular stones, curved stones at will, to harmonious beauty curve stones. All of them challenge the boundaries of human ingenuity.

Machu Picchu is one of the icons of Inca architecture, highlighting the wonderful and inexplicable stones coupling, and magnificent layout.

Machu Picchu’s historic sanctuary, symbol of Andean culture, is surrounded by stunning mountains, with abundant flora and fauna; considered one of the world’s most important archaeological monuments, was declared in 1983, World Heritage Site.

Incaic architecture manifested its greatness, showing the coupling it gave to its constructions with flora and fauna, which lead us to mention that they were great designers, and that natural spaces were designed, or simply that this culture was based on no smear nature.

Machu Picchu is at the same time considered a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. It presents the wonderful art, and also the amazing distribution, thanks to it it was called one of the 7 wonders of the world.
