Chemtrails: Rain Water Analysis Reveals Six New Metallic Elements Impacting Our Health

Is It Fickle Mother Nature Or Determined Weather Geoengineering: Nor’easter No. 4 And Rainwater Analysis

By Catherine J. Frompovich

All these “weather” events began during Christmas week 2017 when we had a snowstorm blow through that probably had some interesting ‘ingredients’ and the proof of what I say is the fact the most beautiful green Boxwood shrub, which has lived for many years in a large garden pot at the back wall of my patio under a very wide overhang from above [my bedroom] protecting it from all weather, was devastated when ‘snow’ had blown onto it, covering it completely.

When the ‘snow’ melted, there was white stuff over every leaf, like someone had dusted the leaves with confectioners’ sugar! Guess what happened then? All the leaves died; they turned brown and dried up!

That Boxwood had been living in the same place year after year, but snow never fell upon it. What was in the snow that drenched and killed that Boxwood during Christmas week 2017?

I saved some leaves if any scientist would like to assay them; just let me know.

Before the fourth event

A most interesting aspect of the Nor’easter’s approach occurred the day before and during a short snowfall. First, there were small snow ‘pellets’, which reminded one of round, white candies on top of chocolates. Then there were flakes that sort of resembled snow, but what followed was totally unbelievable.

I could not believe what I was seeing, but the same ‘weather’ was confirmed by the person on the other end of my telephone conversation about five miles away. We both were amazed to see the size and configuration of the ‘snowflakes’, which looked like someone had torn pieces of white Kleenex and dropped them from the sky. The ‘snowflake forms’ were jagged—like torn, large, extremely white pieces of Kleenex and wafted down almost like a piece of paper would. Then the snow stopped until it began falling during the night.

An experiment in snowflake size?

What were weather geoengineers trying out with those ‘snowflakes’? Were they having a “field day” using special microwaves and chemtrails ‘ingredients’ to test out new snowflake configurations and sizes? I don’t think I will ever know, but for someone who’s seen snow for almost 80 years, I never saw anything like what preceded the official Nor’easter.

Testing rain water and the results

I must admit I’ve been watching the skies and weather more closely than most folks, and even have taken to doing some experiments using scientific laboratory testing. However, prior to the several snow melt experiments I participated in conjunction with a geophysicist, I collected rain water in November of 2017 and paid to have it analyzed by a certified laboratory. The results have led me to think more closely about what was found in one part of the test, since I think the elements could be implicated in various health issues, which physicians may not be factoring into acute and/or chronic illnesses.

Six elements showed up in that rain water test, which I researched further to see what adverse health effects, if any, they could precipitate:

1 – Scandium is a silvery-white, metallic d-block element; a rare earth element found in rain water?!

Even though Scandium has no biological role and ‘supposedly’ is non-toxic, there are suggestions some of its compounds might be carcinogenic. When inhaled, it can cause lung embolisms, especially during long-term exposures. Scandium can be a threat to the liver when it accumulates in the human body. Scandium can become a threat to the environment, gradually accumulating in soil and water soils. It can have negative influences on reproduction and functions of the nervous systems of water animals.

2 – Germanium is a lustrous, grayish-white metalloid in the carbon group.

Germanium hydride and Germanium tetrahydride are extremely flammable and explosive when mixed with air. Adverse health effects include irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract, and may cause lesions on blood cells. Germanium is considered a heavy metal and has some negative impacts on aquatic ecosystems. How does it get into rain water?

3 – Indium is a soft, ductile, silvery-white metal liquid over a wide range of temperatures. It has no biological role and should be regarded as highly toxic. Indium compounds can damage the heart, kidney and liver, and may be teratogenic [cause birth defects]. Caution is expressed about Indium because there is insufficient data about its effects on human health. Indium is not widely dispersed in the environment, so how does it land/appear in rain water? Furthermore, environmental effects have not been investigated.

4 – Tellurium is a mildly toxic, silver-white metalloid chemically related to sulfur and selenium and is found in coal up to 2 ppm. Supposedly, Tellurium is rarely encountered by people, so how does it get into rain water? Tellurium compounds are teratogenic and ingesting even small amounts causes bad-smelling breath and appalling body odor. It can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol! Effects of inhalation include: drowsiness, dry mouth, metal taste, headache, garlic odor, and nausea. The aerosol can irritate the eyes and respiratory tract. It can have adverse effects on the liver and central nervous system. Medical observation upon ingestion reveal abdominal pain, constipation, vomiting. Tellurium chloride, when heated to decomposition, may emit toxic fumes of Tellurium and Chlorine.

5 – Terbium is a silvery-white, rare earth malleable metal, ductile and soft. So how does it get into rain water? It has no biological role and may be mildly toxic by ingestion. Its powder form and compound are very irritating to the skin and eyes. Terbium’s toxicity has not been investigated in detail.

6 – Bismuth is a white, crystalline, brittle metal having a pinkish tint. It’s the most diamagnetic [tending to become magnetized in a direction at 180° to the applied magnetic field. (Online Dictionary) ] [1] of all metals and thermal conductivity is lower than any metal except mercury. Bismuth and its salts can cause kidney damage. It is considered one of the less toxic of the heavy metals. Toxicity can result in the form of bodily discomfort, presence of albumin or other proteins in the urine, diarrhea, skin reactions and exodermatitis. It can enter the body via inhalation, skin and ingestion. There can be acute and chronic adverse health effects from exposure to Bismuth. It poses minimum threat to the environment, but caution is advised as there is limited information on its effects in the environment. So how does it get into rain water?

Resource for the above information:
Chemical elements alphabetically listed

When one steps aside and considers how the above six metals—some rare earth metals—can be found in rain water, one has to surmise that what’s going on within those lines sprayed in the sky, called “chemtrails” or weather management or weather geoengineering or Solar Radiation Management (SRM), probably has some key role in making and managing weather.

Chemtrails are the ‘raw’ material for weather geoengineering because they create the clouds that can be directed with high frequency microwaves being sent from various ionospheric heaters like HAARP and the sea-based HAARP SBX Platform and various ionospheric heater ‘stations’ [2], plus some stations thought to be on isolated islands situated in the oceans.

Interestingly, each of the six metals listed above are grayish, silvery-white—chemtrails cloud color. Those chemtrails dissipate into all sorts of scalar and ‘blanket’ clouds, which cover regions for days at a time, blocking precious sunlight!

Furthermore, those six metals ought to be investigated for any connection they may have with what’s called chemtrail flu.”

Weather really is being controlled

For skeptics who don’t believe weather can be controlled, well how about this: “Beijing snowfall hailed as ‘auspicious’” … but it’s man-made Beijing’s downtown area saw its first snow of the winter on Saturday morning, after a 145-day dry spell in the capital.”

U.S. Law restrictions on biological/chemical agents use on humans

Lastly, there are ethical, moral, legal and constitutional issues revolving around humans being sprayed like bugs!

Who in the U.S. Congress, which has oversight, or the Supreme Court, or the legal system will address Public Law 105-85, Nov. 18, 1997, 111 Stat. 1915, Sec. 1078 Restrictions on the Use of Human Subjects for Testing of Chemical or Biological Agents?

Why Is This Printed on Our Money?

Hypothesis: There are Major Bombings in the United States that have been printed on U.S. Currency several years before the events actually happened.

FEATURED VIDEO: New 100 Dollar Bill Decrypted – Nuclear Devastation

An Illustrated History of American Currency Design. It’s not just paper. From the first notes issued by the Continental Congress to the latest star-spangled bills released by the Federal Reserve, the history of money in America is laced with rebellion, propaganda, and—of course—lots and lots of wealth.

The history specifically serves as a curious lens through which to understand the origins of this complicated nation. Like the government itself, money in America dates back to 1776 when the Continental Congress issued the country’s first official dollar bills. But before and well after that, it had been a free-for-all with any bank or state able to issue its own currency.

It wasn’t until the 20th century that the nation’s currency would be standardized and even recognizable to present-day observers.

On April 20, 2016, the Treasury announced a major redesign of American paper currency. For the first time in over a century, women will appear on banknotes—specifically the $20, $10, and $5 bills. It’s the beginning of a new era of American money design.

White House Defends Ripping Children From Parents as “Very Biblical to Enforce the Law”

Posted: 16 Jun 2018 07:40 PM PDT

Asked to comment on remarks made by Attorney General Jeff Sessions earlier in the day about how the Trump administration’s policy of ripping children out of the arms of their immigrant parents is somehow justified by the Christian Bible, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Thursday afternoon said she could not respond specifically to the AG’s claims but said “it is very biblical to enforce the law.”

“That is actually repeated a number of times throughout the Bible,” Huckabee Sanders said in response to the question by CNN’s Jim Acosta as she appeared to glance at notes on her podium.

Watch the exchange:

“Where does it say in the Bible that it’s moral to take children away from their mothers?” asked Acosta.

But Huckabee wasn’t interested in answering that question, however, and accused Acosta of trying to put words into her mouth and talking over her. “I know it’s hard for you to understand,” she said to the reporter, “even short sentences, I guess.”

Citing increasingly horrific stories of the children of immigrant and asylum-seeking parents being separated at the border, Acosta said “can you imagine the horror these children must be going through” and asked, “Why is the government doing this?”

U.S. Border Patrol agents question a group of adult and minor immigrants near Anzalduas Park, southwest of McAllen, Texas in 2014. There are plans afoot to separate such children from their parents and house the children at military bases. Photo: Jerry Lara

“Because it’s the law,” Huckabee Sanders responded. “And that’s what the law states.”

And it was downhill from there as subsequent reporters pushed back against the false claims the press secretary was making—namely that their family separation policy was “the law” and not a specific policy choice pushed by President Trump and promoted at the DOJ by Sessions on multiple occasions.

Pressed by journalist Brian Karem if she, as a parent herself, had any empathy for what these migrant families were going through, Huckabee Sanders refused to answer:

Turns out, there’s nothing in the Bible that says you have to answer questions you don’t like.

This Abandoned Macy’s Is Now A Homeless Shelter Housing Its Former Employees

Posted: 16 Jun 2018 05:02 PM PDT

The Landmark Mall in Alexandria, VA, used to be the talk of the town – in the 1960’s. Times have changed; Photo sources: NY Times

ZeroHedge| The Macy’s at the Landmark Mall in Alexandria, Virginia used to be an iconic and historic building. In what is now undoubtedly a sign of the times, it has been converted into a homeless shelter until the property can be razed and its owner, the Howard Hughes Corporation, can repurpose the property and build something new at its location.

Even more telling, this homeless shelter houses many of those who used to work at the very same Macy’s.

In the realm of brick-and-mortar retail, the times are definitely a changin’. We have often, on this site, detailed not only the slow and painful death of brick-and-mortar retail as it has been occurring, but also how the value of once coveted mall property has disintegrated and similarly, how landlords of these properties now find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place – tenants are dropping like flies, sales numbers used to help calculate rent are on the decline and property appraisals have been underwhelming. This has led to a influx of abandoned property, not unlike the Macy’s in Alexandria, just sitting and waiting to be repurposed

(Photo sources: NY Times)

The Macy’s in the Landmark Mall was the topic of a recent New York Times article, detailing how a once historic landmark that it is now abandoned and has become a homeless shelter, 15 months after it had its last customers. The Macy’s “now provides 60 beds, hot meals and showers for families and for single men and women who are having trouble finding a place to live in a city with a scarcity of affordable housing.”

Here is The New York Times on the property’s once iconic status as a historic landmark:

The Landmark Mall was once at the vanguard of shopping. Opened in 1965, the mall housed the region’s most fashionable department stores, Hecht’s, Woodward & Lothrop and Sears & Roebuck. Boys came to buy their first suit at the haberdasher, and teenage girls could get their shoes dyed to match the color of their prom dress.

Alexandria’s former mayor William D. Euille remembered playing the clarinet in the high school band at the mall’s opening ceremony. “It was the economic engine of the city,” he said.

Landmark tried to adapt over the years. It began as an open-air shopping center and went through an overhaul in the 1980s to enclose the property.

Like many other malls, however, it has gone the way of the buffalo:

Eventually, the mall succumbed to retail’s propensity to chase after newer, flashier spaces. Developers built larger malls with more upscale brands nearby in Pentagon City and Tysons Corner, siphoning customers away from Landmark.

Landmark’s original anchor stores either have been bought out, went bankrupt or are clinging to life — like many in the retail business. Last year, 6,985 stores closed in the United States, a record number, according to Coresight Research, a retail analysis and advisory firm. This year, retailers are on a pace to close roughly 10,000 stores.

In its final years of operation, the Landmark’s tenants included two dollar stores and a tax preparer. Only the Sears is still operating. A lone, blue inflatable figure dances on the store’s roof, beckoning shoppers.

READ MORE: Thousands More Stores Are on the 2018 Retail Apocalypse DEATH LIST: Are your local stores on the list?

Plans to revamp the property, including a 2009 effort to help it once again become an open-air shopping destination, have failed – namely due to the property’s former owner, General Growth Properties, went bankrupt after the 2008 financial crisis. Subsequent to that, the mall was sold and those plans were scrapped.

Landmark’s current owner, the Howard Hughes Corporation, plans to tear down the mall and build a mixed-used space that could include offices, retail and other attractions that are still being finalized. It could take many more years to complete the planning, permitting and construction process for such a huge project.

“It’s a great piece of real estate,” said Mark Bulmash, a senior vice president of development at Howard Hughes.

The article then tells several stories of individuals who are moving into this property as it has now become a temporary homeless shelter for a builder who is seeking shelter while it constructs a permanent location on the other side of Alexandria:

Karleen Smith used to work at the Macy’s in Landmark Mall, putting price tags on summer dresses, housewares and the latest styles of shoes.

On Saturday, Ms. Smith, 57, returned to her former store, not as an employer or a customer, but as a resident.

The former Macy’s in this vacant shopping mall outside Washington has been transformed into a homeless shelter.

“It’s weird to be moving into this building. I used to work here,” she said inside the shelter’s common room, which was once the men’s department. “It’s called survival.”

Smith’s memories of the building, prior to its current state, were fondly noted in the NY Times article – again just making even clearer how the property is long past its heydey and has made a full 180 degree turn for the worse:

Ms. Smith, the former Macy’s worker, rested on the floor of the common room under a frayed green blanket. Before coming to the shelter, Ms. Smith had been living in a car and showering in a recreation center. “I was tired,” she said.

Ms. Smith, who worked at Macy’s as a seasonal hire during the holidays 10 years ago, remembers the store fondly.

On a slow day, she would try on makeup at the cosmetics counter and spray herself with samples of perfume. She said she could never afford to buy anything of her own. “All I could do was admire it.”

As Ms. Smith waited to move into her new room, the electricity cut out to a portion of the shelter and the staff set up battery powered camping lanterns to light the way for movers. Volunteers brought crockpots with taco makings for dinner and put together goody bags for the children staying there.

For many of the current residents of the shelter, what has happened is nothing short of shocking.

Keith Ham, 43, who has been living the shelter for about three months, said his family did not believe where he was moving.

“They say, ‘Macy’s at the mall?’ And I say, ‘For real, Macy’s at the mall.’”

We detailed the glut in retail space in an early May article that we published, noting that the American shopping mall – that centerpiece of the 1980’s big-box retail model – has fallen on hard times in recent years as the growing dominance of e-commerce has finally started to take a toll on brick-and-mortar retailers – a subject that we’ve frequently discussed.

Shifting consumption patterns (i.e. the dawn of e-commerce), years of underinvestment by mall owners, and a seemingly unceasing stream of retailer bankruptcies are the factors that have been responsible for most of the damage to Mall REITS, particularly products tied to lower quality malls.

Emptying storefronts and malls have only exacerbated a glut of American retail space. The country now has roughly 24 square feet of retail space per capita, more than twice that of Australia and 5 times that of the UK.

In April, we talked about the breakneck speed with which retail shopping space was closing. Retail real estate carnage is continuing this year with no signs of slowing up, as Bloomberg reported back in April that over 77 million square feet of retail real estate has closed this year and that 2018 will easily pass 2017’s record of 105 million square feet closed. The latest example was the fall of the once massive Toys ‘R’ Us name:

The fall of the Toys “R” Us chain, with more than 700 U.S. stores, shows how much retail real estate has changed in just the last decade. When KKR & Co., Bain Capital, and Vornado Realty Trust took over the company in 2005, the buyers justified the $7.5 billion price, in part, because of the supposedly valuable properties that came with the deal.

We also noted that the price of such properties was tanking. If there was ever to be any silver lining to the complete carnage in the retail real estate space, it was the argument that has been perpetuated over the last decade or so: despite retail stores closing, the real estate would eventually be worth something.

This argument was made by real estate investment trusts as well as activist investors and analysts who tried to put a positive spin on the death of brick and mortar retail. Now, with more space freeing up, the bid under former retail property is at ask of falling off as supply is starting to get far ahead of demand:

Real estate can put a floor under the value of a retailer and make it easier for the company to borrow. Maybe a particular store concept doesn’t work out as consumers’ tastes change, but in that case, investors can always sell the land and buildings to someone with a better plan. Long-term leases can be similarly valuable. But what if the problem isn’t that a particular store is out of fashion, but that consumers are just shopping less at brick-and-mortar retailers in general? As more storefronts empty, the valuation floor will look wobblier.

The story of Alexandria should come as no surprise to anybody who has been following brick-and-mortar retail, watching it get torched by online competitors, mostly

Unfortunately as times goes on, the reality only gets more desperate for brick-and-mortar retail, and its (former) employees, at a time when many considered that the decimation of brick and mortar may finally be ending.

It appears that it’s only just beginning.

Study: Fasting for Three Days can Regenerate the Entire Immune System of Humans

Posted: 16 Jun 2018 11:52 AM PDT

Researchers at the University of Southern California have announced that fasting for as little as three days, can regenerate the entire human immune system for a very healthy living.

The researchers described their study as “remarkable and a major breakthrough” in finding natural methods to boost the immune system.

In the past, fasting diets have been criticized by nutritionists for being unhealthy. However, this new study by the Americans suggests that starving the body kick-starts stem cells into producing new white blood cells, which fight off infection.

The researchers said their discovery could be particularly beneficial for people suffering from damaged immune systems, such as cancer patients on chemotherapy. Elderly people, too, are said to benefit greatly from the study.

As people grow, their immune system becomes weak, making it harder for them to fight off even common diseases. As per this study, fasting could help them get their immune system back on track.

Fasting for 72 hours also protects cancer patients against the toxic impact of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy causes significant collateral damage to the immune system. The results of this study suggest that fasting may mitigate some of the harmful effects of chemotherapy.

Detailing the study, the researchers said fasting “flips a regenerative switch” that prompts stem cells to create brand new white blood cells, essentially regenerating the entire immune system.

Lead researcher of the study Professor Valter Longo, who serves as professor of Gerontology and the Biological Sciences at the University of California, said the study proved that fasting could indeed help the human body to produce a new immune system.

s 3,,,

“It gives the ‘OK’ for stem cells to go ahead and begin proliferating and rebuild the entire system. And the good news is that the body got rid of the parts of the system that might be damaged or old, the inefficient parts, during the fasting. Now, if you start with a system heavily damaged by chemotherapy or ageing, fasting cycles can generate, literally, a new immune system.” Professor Longo said.

At the Experimentation stage of the study, some people were asked by the researchers to regularly fast for between two and four days over a period of six months.

The researchers then found that the fasting helped to produce a new immune system, as well as reducing the enzyme PKA, a hormone which increases cancer risk and tumor growth that is linked to ageing.

Professor Longo expressed how the research team became surprised upon realizing the outcome of their experiment: “What we started noticing in both our human work and animal work is that the white blood cell count goes down with prolonged fasting. Then when you re-feed, the blood cells come back. So we started thinking, well, where does it come from?”

The study said prolonged fasting not only forces the body to use stores of glucose and fat, but it also breaks down a significant portion of white blood cells. During each cycle of fasting, this depletion of white blood cells induces changes that trigger stem cell-based regeneration of new immune system cells.

“We could not predict that prolonged fasting would have such a remarkable effect in promoting stem cell-based regeneration of the hematopoietic system. When you starve, the system tries to save energy and one of the things it can do to save energy is to recycle a lot of the immune cells that are not needed, especially those that may be damaged,” Professor Longo added.

With the study having been experimented already, more clinical trials will be able to determine other factors. If that is done, one can see a physician for an appropriate fasting recommendation.

Millennials Expect To Retire At 56 Despite Negative Net Worth

Posted: 15 Jun 2018 01:24 PM PDT

ZeroHedge| Not only are millennials the most populous generation in the American workforce, but the tremendous amount of credit card and student loan debt they carry has made them the most indebted generation in modern history – which is forcing them to put off other major life decisions.

But despite the fact that a surprising number of millennials are fat and broke, many still have an optimistic view on when they expect to retire. Though their generation mostly lacks the generous pensions offered to Baby Boomers and some Gen Xers, A TD Ameritrade survey found that millennials who use the service expect to retire at the surprisingly young age of 56. That’s six years below the current minimum age for receiving social security.

What’s even more surprising, of the 1,500 millennials surveyed for the study, 53% expect to become millionaires at some point in their lives. However, that percentage is unevenly divided between men and women: Of those surveyed who expect to become millionaires, 70% are men, compared with 38% of women.

Roughly 80% of millennials struggle with at least one type of debt. Meanwhile, according to the study, millennials are prioritizing saving unlike previous generations – or maybe it just seems that way.

READ MORE: 12 Million Millennials Still Live With Their Moms

According to the survey, roughly 70% of respondents to the survey described themselves as “savers.” Though that doesn’t quite jive with the official data, which show that the personal savings rate in the US is near all-time lows.

A small percentage of savers say they never expect to pay back their loans (and recently we pointed out that about 100 or so Americans have more than $1 million in student loans). All of this is happening at a time when interest rates are rising, inflation has been showing signs of moving higher, gas prices are climbing and a shortage of homes has forced real-estate values to levels last seen before the housing crisis. Meanwhile, their net worth will likely remain negative for a while.

Back in March, we pointed out that debt-laden millennials have been set back an average of $140,000 compared with their parents – a problem that has been compounded not just by student loans but by the costs of rent, food and other bills like car loans, which have also seen rapid growth.

Any millennial who honestly expects to retire at 56 should be aware: If you truly want to retire young, you need to start saving in your 20s. Because with “the power of compounding,” as TDAmeritrade strategist JJ Kinahan explained it, “even those who start early can end up with more in the end.”

Of course, by ‘saving’, Kinahan appears to mean ‘gambling in the stock market’, but tomato-potato.

How To Find Out Which Government Agency Is Spying On Your Phone

Posted: 14 Jun 2018 11:49 PM PDT

Everybody knows that the surveillance imposed on us through all these smartphones, tablets, computers, and everything else extends much further than we are allowed to know.

Based on the fact that the mainstream media is so willing to report on this Cambridge Analytica-Facebook scandal, it seems apparent that they are disguising something much worse of the same genre of info.

Did you know that a few years ago, people started looking into the connections being made by their smartphones, and they noticed one of the IP addresses led to a Department of Defense (DOD) Information Center? That’s basically the equivalent of your phone saying it is leading to Langley, Virginia. It’s your data going straight to the US military.

You might notice that a computer running on a Windows operating system can be brand new, and will be so bogged down that it still runs slower than for instance, a variant of Linux as the operating system. It has been said that Windows even has a backdoor built in to connect it to intelligence agencies: I wouldn’t be surprised.

So is your phone still communicating with the DoD?

Most likely, and it might just show up the same way it did for everyone else a couple years ago.

On your phone, go to settings and click “About Device” or “Status.” It is reportedly becoming more difficult to even find this on newer Android phones, I wonder why.

Turn off your WiFi before starting this process. When you’re at the “About Device” type place, locate the IP address of your phone.

Now that you have your phone’s IP, you can visit the website from any device.

Paste your IP address in the search bar at, and you’ll see a screen pop up. There, you can access information about your phone’s network and carrier.

As you can see from this screencap, this person’s phone is being monitored by the DoD (Department of Defense) Network Information Center.

Several people tried this in the past few years. On a forum, somebody pointed out the exact same thing.

On social media, people questioned why the hell is our data being secretly routed to government facilities?

The lesson here is, use a computer with Linux based software, use your smartphone for necessities, and never be scared into submission.

One lesser discussed consequence of surveillance is actually self censorship.

If we censor ourselves, scared like we will get in trouble for talking about what we should have a natural right to, whatever it is, we will censor ourselves without even requiring force from the state.

Never be scared to speak up, or we will lose freedom.

Russia Warns “Credible Information” Of Impending Staged Chemical Attack In Syria

As the world’s attention was focused on Singapore and the historic Trump-Kim summit this week, and with broad media acknowledgement that Assad has won the war for Syria, the time could be ripe for some kind of major event to jolt the globe’s focus back to the war, now in its seventh year, which could be slowly winding down.

It seems to occur every time the Syrian Army is on a trajectory of overwhelming victory: an ill-timed and strategically nonsensical mass chemical attack on civilians supposedly ordered by Assad — inevitably giving the West an open door for military intervention, new rounds of crippling sanctions, and yet more international media condemnation heaped on Damascus.

And this week the Russian Defense Ministry has warned of just such a scenario. Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said early in the week that US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces are planning a “serious provocation” aimed at justifying a new round of Western coalition missile attacks against Syrian government bases and facilities.

Konashenkov, in a statement carried by Russian state-run TASS and subsequently featured in a One America News report, said “According to the information confirmed through three independent channels in Syria, the command of the so-called ‘Free Syrian Army’ aided by the forces of the US special ops units are preparing a serious provocation involving chemical warfare agents in the Deir ez-Zor province.

The TASS media release explained further:

According to Konashenkov, FSA militants have delivered chlorine cylinders to the Syrian Deir ez-Zor province to simulate another “chemical attack against civilians.”

“After being published in western media a staged video is set to initiate a missile strike on Syria’s state facilities by the US-led coalition and justify an offensive operation by militants against Syrian governmental forces on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River,” he said, adding that Russia’s Defense Ministry warns that the use of such provocations for destabilization of the environment on the Syrian territory is unacceptable.

Though there’s currently no way to verify if such claims are true, and no “staged video” has yet to surface on the internet, the Russian Defense Ministry appears to be painting a potential future scenario much like last April’s chemical attack incident: it was video of mass civilian death which directly led to Western airstrikes on Syria.

A new One America News report features the Russian Defense Ministry claims:

After the Saudi-backed jihadist group Jaish al-Islam, working in tandem with the US/UK sponsored White Helmets, claimed a Syrian Army chemical attack against civilians in Douma on April 7, the US-led coalition launched over a hundred missiles on government facilities primarily in and around Damascus. This was done even as the UN and global chemical watchdog organization, the OPCW, said there were no independent observers on the ground to confirm whether or not a chemical attack even took place, much less who was to blame.

Some among the first group of journalists to gain entry inside Douma, located just outside Damascus, such as the UK Independent’s Robert Fisk and One America News Network’s Pearson Sharp, found no evidence that a chemical attack took place in Douma, contrary to what was widely reported in international media. A formal OPCW investigation is still ongoing.

Notably, Russia as well as some mainstream Western counter-terror experts have consistently pointed the finger at Jaish al Islam (JAI) for staging the Douma “chemical attack” in order to provoke the US military response. And prior reporting emerged in the aftermath that JAI itself had used chemical weapons against Kurdish militias in Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud district in 2016 (and it appears that the Saudi-backed group openly admitted to carrying out prior chemical attacks according to The Daily Beast).

Russia further hosted a press briefing at OPCW headquarters in The Hague where witnesses came forward to say there was no chemical attack, but that respiratory problems from conventional weapons bombarding the town were made to look like chemical symptoms once Jaish al Islam and the White Helmets took over a local hospital and began filming.

The testimony was consistent with well-known Syrian opposition group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which initially reported based on its own pro-rebel sourcing that heavy government bombardment of Douma city resulted in the collapse of homes and underground shelters, causing civilians in hiding to suffocate.

According to SOHR, which has long been a key go-to source for mainstream media over the course of the war, “70 of them [women and children] have suffered suffocation as a result of the demolition of home basements over them due to the heavy and intense shelling.”

Crucially, all of this occurred just days after President Trump declared he planned to order a complete US military pullout from Syria. And predictably, the April chemical provocation was just the thing that brought Trump’s planned pullout to a grinding halt, with Secretary of Defense James Mattis telling NATO leaders at the start of this week that he remains against a US withdrawal “before progress was made” — whatever that means.

Recently, the Washington Post issued a surprising admission, reluctantly declaring that that Assad is “here to stay”“The writing is now indisputably on the wall: The Syrian regime is going nowhere,” according to widely circulated op-ed.

But if recent history provides a pattern for the future, once the media establishment and political leaders in the West begin acknowledging “Assad is here to stay,” this portends that a major regime change precipitating event is just around the corner.

Top Psychiatrist: DEMONS Really Are Possessing People As Pure Evil Sweeps Over Humanity

Posted: 14 Jun 2018 11:24 AM PDT

Francisco Goya’s 1795 painting, “St. Francis Borgia Helping a Dying Impenitent”

Medical science remains sceptical. However, a Princeton-and-Yale-educated mainstream psychiatrist believes demonic possession is indeed very real – and claims that the majority of Americans agree with him.

Natural News| An Ivy League-educated psychiatrist is convinced that there’s a growing epidemic of demonic possession in the world today, and that most everyday people now recognize the dark reality of this scary situation.

Dr. Richard Gallagher, who boasts degrees from both Princeton University and Yale University, says that, despite conflicting opinions within mainstream medical science, demonic possession is both real and rampant.

With 25 years of experience under his belt as a private psychiatrist that compliments his two teaching positions at both New York Medical College and Columbia University, Dr. Gallagher believes he holds a unique vantage point in discerning between human and non-human, or satanic, behavior.

He’s also a highly sought-after professional of such things in cases where a determination is being made about the possible need for an exorcism. Having evaluated hundreds of cases of possible demonic possession towards this end, Dr. Gallagher is certain that the phenomenon is legitimate and pressing.

He insinuated to The Telegraph (United Kingdom) during a recent interview that demons know full well how to trick human beings because they possess far more advanced cognitive faculties. They routinely use these mental “smarts” to control the humans they possess, causing many of them to commit atrocities and other evils against other people and lifeforms.

“They’re very, very smart,” Dr. Gallagher is quoted as saying about the beings that occupy the demonic realm. “The intelligence level of a fallen angel, which is what I call them, is far superior to human beings.”

Roman Catholic Church seeing huge uptick in cases of demonic possession

Dr. Gallagher’s sentiments align with other recent reports about rising demand for exorcisms in the Roman Catholic Church. The Vatican actually held a training course earlier this year to teach exorcist priests how to handle this influx of demon-possessed humans.

Pope Francis has also commented on the phenomenon, explaining to his followers that Satan is, indeed, “a real being” who’s “roaming the earth to devour souls like a lion.” He wrote back in April that people shouldn’t assume that the devil is just some myth, representation, symbol, figure of speech, or idea. Doing this causes people to let down their guard, he claims, making all of us “more vulnerable.”

Francis also says that priests “should not hesitate” to send people who are suffering from “genuine spiritual disturbances” to exorcists. The Rite of Exorcism, he says, is a “delicate and necessary ministry” that should be undertaken with “great care and great prudence.”

According to data from the United States, the number of priests trained in performing exorcisms has increased from a mere 12 about a decade ago to 50 – a more than 300 percent increase. This dramatic jump shouldn’t be ignored, says Dr. Gallagher, who while he’s not alone in his opinions is among a small few who are willing to talk about it professionally.

“There are many other psychiatrists and mental health care professionals who do what I do – perhaps not to the scope that I do – who seem hesitant to speak out,” Dr. Gallagher says. “That’s what gives my work some singularity. That I have had so much experience and that I am willing to speak out. I feel an obligation to speak out. I think that I should.”

At the same time, Dr. Gallagher warns that it’s important to determine without any doubt that a person actually has a real demon before recommending that he or she visit an exorcist.

“There is very strict criteria for determining the person’s problem,” he warns. “I am not just intuiting. I’m dealing with it from a very scientific point of view.”

A Catastrophe We’re Not Ready For

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 01:59 AM PDT

Imagine if electrical power suddenly went out for hundreds of millions of people. A blackout not just for hours, but for months, throwing our world into chaos and impacting everything from communications to food and water distribution. While a global blackout sounds like the start of an apocalyptic movie, there’s a possibility it could happen.

A massive solar storm hitting the earth is a ‘Low-Probability, High-Consequence’ event. It has the potential to knock out electrical power for a prolonged period and wreak havoc on nearly every aspect of modern life. Yet, it’s not something we’re really prepared for.

The last massive solar storm to hit the earth was in 1859, and is often referred to as the Carrington Event ( after astronomer Richard Carrington first observed the solar flare). It lit up the night sky with brilliant colors and caused telegraph wires to spark. There was very little reliance on electricity in the mid 19th Century, but had the solar storm hit just a few decades later, it’s disruptive impact would have been far greater.

A solar storm is a catch-all term that can include Solar flares and Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), among other phenomena. A CME can cause real chaos for our electrified society. It is an eruption of the sun’s magnetized plasma that is then carried to the earth by solar wind, where it can overwhelm the earth’s magnetic field. Geomagnetically induced currents can damage hundreds of high-voltage electrical transformers all at one time, crippling the electrical grid. The impact of that could be catastrophic.

US Airstrikes Kill 18 Civilians in NE Syria

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 12:42 AM PDT

As US and Kurdish forces carried out offensives against ISIS in the area, US warplanes carried out airstrikes against the town of Khoeberah, in the mostly Kurdish Hasakeh Province of northeast Syria, killing 18 civilians.

Details are still emerging on the incident, which the Syrian government has confirmed. The majority of the slain civilians are, by their accounts, Iraqi refugees who had fled into Syria during the fighting in western Iraq.

This is a common occurrence on both sides of the border, as ISIS controlled territory straddling the Iraq-Syria border, and offensives against each side tended to send civilians scattering to any place remotely safer than where they were at.

US airstrikes carried out anywhere in the vicinity of suspected ISIS forces have tended to lead to large civilian casualties, and while the US has yet to comment on this latest incident, the Pentagon rarely acknowledges the full toll of errant airstrikes.

Magma Amassing Beneath Supervolcano at Yellowstone National Park, Scientists Say

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 09:16 PM PDT

Fairley said measuring the amount of magma amassing beneath Yellowstone directly informs researchers on the likelihood of an imminent eruption. If magma is coming up slowly, an eruption is probably a long way off, Fairley said.

Scientists with Washington State University and the University of Idaho have devised a new way to estimate the amount of magma beneath Yellowstone National Park’s supervolcano by measuring the heat lost through the park’s various geologic features.

Jerry Fairley, a professor with the department of geological sciences at the UI and one of the lead researchers on the study, said the new method involved dosing several hot springs with a benign, stable hydrogen isotope called deuterium.

Deuterium, Fairley explained, is a pervasive chemical throughout nature. He said scientists measured the amount of time it took for deuterium levels to return to normal as well as the temperatures of the hot springs to estimate the amount of water running through the system and the amount of heat lost.

While their conclusions are still subject to debate, Fairley said the research has shown the magma beneath Yellowstone may be amassing much more quickly than was previously estimated.

“The work that we’ve done, it seems to indicate that there could potentially be up to twice as much heat being discharged as was previously thought,” Fairley said. “If there is twice as much heat coming up as we thought previously, that means there’s twice as much magma coming up.”

Why We Should All Be Alarmed That Israeli Troops Are Training US Police Forces

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 08:01 PM PDT

The Israeli forces mowing down unarmed Palestinian protesters also train U.S. police forces that brutalize communities of color.

(FPIF) — Razan al-Najjar is the latest victim in Israel’s onslaught of Palestinians to go viral. The 21-year-old nurse was shot dead by a sniper. Her only weapon? A wad of medical gauze. She’d been treating protestors who’ve been rallying for their right to return to homes they were expelled from as refugees.

Unfortunately, the death of another unarmed civilian is hardly even news to Palestinians.

May 14, the day the United States moved its embassy to Jerusalem in symbolic support of recognizing the city as Israel’s capital, was also the bloodiest day in this recent wave of demonstrations. In just one day, at least 50 Palestinians were killed and 2,400 more injured by the Israeli military. (Other counts put those figures even higher.)

This isn’t an anomaly. In this latest wave of demonstrations, Israeli forces have killed dozens of unarmed protesters and wounded thousands more. And they’re not apologizing.

The violence has additionally troubling implications for the United States—and not just for its foreign policy, but at home. That’s because U.S. police forces actually train extensively with the Israeli military. In fact, hundreds of federal, state, local, and even some campus law enforcement departments across the country have trained in some capacity with the Israeli forces now gunning down Palestinian protesters in droves.

Some notable ones include the Chicago police, responsible for shooting and killing 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. The Baltimore police too, who were responsible for killing 25-year-old Freddie Gray. And the St. Louis department, which was deployed in Ferguson when protests erupted after police killed 18-year-old Michael Brown—prompting Palestinians halfway across the world to begin tweeting advice for minimizing injuries when police deploy tear gas.

U.S. police departments are sent to Israel, or sometimes Israeli forces come to the United States, under the pretense of counter-terrorism training.

Apparently that training includes learning the benefits of “skunk water”—a liquid developed by Israel that’s used to break up anti-occupation protests like the ones occurring right now. After protests in Ferguson, the St. Louis department started stockpiling the stuff.

And that now infamous NYPD Muslim surveillance program? The NYPD Intelligence Division Chief responsible for that one got the idea from a similar program used to spy on Palestinians.

It begs the question of whom the U.S. police consider terrorists.

The former head of Shin Bet (Israel’s internal security service) Avi Dichter—who has advocated dropping heavy bombs on civilian-occupied Gaza apartment buildings—believes there’s “an intimate connection between fighting criminals and fighting terrorists.” He calls these threats “crimiterrorists.”

But this isn’t a one-sided transfer of tactics. Dichter likes to think of the war on terror and the war on drugs in the same category. And when Israeli forces visit the United States, they also receive training from our police forces on the drug war tactics that have targeted Black and brown communities.

And just as well-documented as the U.S. police killings of Black Americans are the Israeli military killings, torture and surveillance of Palestinian adults and children.

Take 15-year-old Mohammed Tamimi. He was shot during a protest and had to have part of his skull removed. He was then taken by Israeli forces in the middle of the night, and beaten into confessing that they didn’t shoot him in the face, despite medical records and eyewitness accounts proving otherwise.

Of course, this story has an ending that Black Americans can also relate to — those in uniform will rarely be held accountable by the government.

While these connections may be new to some, the activists fighting both against the occupation of Palestine and for Black lives are not strangers to how their struggles are linked.

In 2015, Black and Palestinian artists and activists released a video and statement of Black-Palestinian solidarity in the face of state-sanctioned violence. And the Movement for Black Lives platform includes demands for the U.S. to divest from the occupation of Palestine.

The movement is taking root in many cities. In Atlanta, the group #ATLisReady released a list of demands following the police killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile — the first calling for the termination of the Atlanta Police Department’s involvement in Israeli training programs. And Jewish Voices for Peace launched “Deadly Exchange,” a campaign to end the sharing of the worst practices of policing.

And now, these movements are starting to notch some victories. Durham, North Carolina recently became the first city to ban trainings of U.S. police by the Israeli military.

The success of Durham’s training ban, spearheaded by Demilitarize from Durham2Palestine, is even more extraordinary when you consider the efforts of both the powerful pro-Israel and police lobbies to crack down on Black and Palestinian-led activist organizations.

While the joint forces of the Israeli military and the U.S. police are a terrifying and oftentimes deadly affront, a joint Black and Palestinian force for good is emerging as quite powerful itself. And as the death toll rises here and in Gaza, it’s needed now more than ever.

California turning into third-world under Agenda 21 rules

Agenda 21, under the guise of ‘sustainable development’, is being fully implemented throughout the globe. Many in the green movement have no clue that they are being used to sell the plan of the globalist’s overall agenda of total control and depopulation for a global governance (NWO).

After watching the below video, you can read more about this agenda in the article titled, “Agenda 21 For Dummies: New World Order Depopulation Exposed

A citizen-journalist by the name of grindall61 on YouTube exposes what’s in the works for Californians.

He reveals the ONLY REASON behind the state’s massive water restrictions and that is …..

“The elites want to control all the water rights. California has been working on this for years that’s why the farmers can’t grow anything and the “man made drought” a few years back has caused farming to move south of the border. It’s all a scam this will matriculate nationwide as everything California does environmental wise eventually does. Agenda 21, 2030 and sustainable development are as dangerous as any war.” – Power River

Iceland Is A Gun-Loving Country With No Shooting Murders Since 2007

Posted: 03 Jun 2018 02:47 AM PDT

While the remote island is the size of Kentucky and has a population similar to St. Louis, Missouri, Icelanders say the U.S. can learn from their gun laws.

Once again we can look to Iceland for setting the trends that are benefiting the people of the country.

After Iceland suffered a heavy hit in the 2008-2009 financial crisis, the country was unique in how it chose to handle the disaster. It simply let the banks fail, which resulted in defaults totaling $85 billion—lending ample justification for the prosecution and conviction of bank executives for various fraud-related charges. In addition, every Icelander received a payout for the sale of one of its three largest banks, Íslandsbanki.

It’s no wonder then that the country has set another trend in that it hasn’t had anyone killed with a gun since 2007 even though every civilian is allowed to own firearms. Those who live in Ireland attribute that to their gun laws and apparently, so does NBC News.

Like many of his countrymen, Olaf Garðar Garðarsson is eager to get his hands on a rifle.

But he can’t just walk into a store and buy one. Instead, he is sitting through a mandatory four-hour lecture on the history and physics of the firearm.

This is Iceland — the gun-loving nation that hasn’t experienced a gun-related murder since 2007.

“For us, it would be really strange if you could get a license to buy a gun and you had no idea how to handle it,” says Garðarsson, 28, a mechanical engineer. “I would find it very odd if [a gun owner] had never even learned which is the pointy end and which is the trigger end.”

Iceland is a sparsely populated island in the northern Atlantic. Its tiny population of some 330,000 live on a landmass around the size of Kentucky.

St. Louis, Missouri, which has a population slightly smaller than Iceland’s, had 193 homicides linked to firearms last year.

Icelanders believe the rigorous gun laws on this small, remote volcanic rock can offer lessons to the United States.

The NBC News article goes on to say …guns are everywhere in Iceland, about one for every three people, and many here are staunch advocates of their right to own a firearm.

“There’s nothing wrong with the gun,” said Jóhann Vilhjálmsson, a gunsmith in Reykjavik, echoing a favorite argument of the National Rifle Association. “The gun kills nothing, you know? It’s the person who is holding onto the gun.”

The last gun killing here was 11 years ago, and there have only been four in the past two decades, according to, a project run by Australia’s University of Sydney.

An instructor discusses gun safety at a firing range. Anton Brink Hansen / for NBC News

And Icelanders take the responsibility that comes with owning a deadly weapon very seriously.

That’s why Garðarsson, the mechanical engineer and hopeful gun-owner, is currently sitting in a Reykjavik hotel conference room learning about the ins and outs of his weapon of choice.

He came here with his girlfriend, Jóhanna Einarsdóttir, 26, a teacher who also wants a gun. There are about three dozen others in attendance, all listening intently to the seminar covering firearm history, physics, laws, hunting and safety.

This is only one step in a meticulously regulated journey.

Candidates are examined by a doctor who checks they are in good physical and mental health.

They have a meeting with the chief of police, who asks them why they want to own a gun and runs a background check to make sure they have no criminal record.

The gun safety and shooting course is held at a test center outside Reykjavik.Anton Brink Hansen / for NBC News

Then comes the lecture, followed by a written test the next day that they have to pass with a grade of 75 percent or higher.

The final part is a day-long practice session at a shooting range outside the capital. Here, against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains, they blast at bright-orange targets fired into the sky by a machine.

“It feels like somebody cares that you’re getting a gun and what you’re going to do with the gun,” Garðarsson says at his apartment on the outskirts of Reykjavik. “So you’re not going to buy a gun to do stupid things.”

If they pass, he and his girlfriend will have been studying and preparing for around 13 months.

Iran To File Lawsuit Against “ISIS Founder”: United States

Posted: 02 Jun 2018 11:38 PM PDT

ZeroHedge| After a US federal judge in New York ordered Iran to pay billions of dollars to the families of victims of the September 11 terror attacks earlier this month in a largely symbolic default judgement, Iran is reportedly prepping to sue Washington for terror attacks carried out against Tehran within the last year.

Iran says the US is responsible for the rise of ISIS, and is therefore indirectly to blame for twin terror attacks that rocked the Iranian parliament building and a popular religious shrine in June 2017, which left 17 civilians dead and 43 wounded, according to Iranian media figures.

“During the presidential campaign, Trump clearly spoke about the performance of his rival, Mrs. Clinton, saying that the US has created the ISIL,” Abolfazl Aboutorabi, a member of parliament’s judicial commission, announced on Tuesday in comments carried by Iranian state media. “The public prosecutor has also filed a lawsuit in this regard,” Aboutorabi added.

Iran hopes the initiative will shine an international spotlight on the Obama administration’s role in facilitating the rise of ISIS in Iraq and Syria something President Trump repeatedly affirmed while on the campaign trail.

Trump also famously blamed then Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for the rapid rise of ISIS, especially in relation to policies she oversaw in Libya and Syria as Obama’s Secretary of State.

Trump first told his supporters in January 2016 that “Hillary Clinton created ISIS with Obama.” And in a CBS 60 Minutes interview that aired July 17, 2016, he said again, “Hillary Clinton invented ISIS with her stupid policies.”

Trump: Obama and “crooked Hillary Clinton” are the “founder” and “co-founder” of ISIS:

It’s the first time in history that a candidate who would go on to become president has blamed his predecessor for founding a terrorist group.

A fairly consistent theme of Trump on the campaign trail was that Obama and Hillary’s massive covert aid program to Islamist “rebels” in places like Libya and Syria facilitated the terror group’s rapid growth. He also blamed Obama’s hasty troop pullout from Iraq.

Long before joining the Trump campaign, former Defense Intelligence Chief under Obama Michael Flynn told Al-Jazeera it was a “willful decision” to support jihadists groups in Syria that included ISIS:

Indeed one surprisingly frank editorial in Britain’s premier mainstream Guardian newspaper concluded the same a full year before Trump first made the statements. The Guardian article, titled Now the truth emerges: how the US fulled the rise of ISIS in Syria and Iraq went viral after it was published in June 2015, and analyzed a then newly declassified Pentagon intelligence document which had been released as part of a watchdog group’s FOIA lawsuit connected to the Benghazi diplomatic compound attack.

The Guardian summarized the Pentagon memo as follows:

A revealing light on how we got here has now been shone by a recently declassified secret US intelligence report, written in August 2012, which uncannily predicts – and effectively welcomes – the prospect of a “Salafist principality” in eastern Syria and an al-Qaida-controlled Islamic state in Syria and Iraq. In stark contrast to western claims at the time, the Defense Intelligence Agency document identifies al-Qaida in Iraq (which became Isis) and fellow Salafists as the “major forces driving the insurgency in Syria” – and states that “western countries, the Gulf states and Turkey” were supporting the opposition’s efforts to take control of eastern Syria.

Raising the “possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality”, the Pentagon report goes on, “this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran)”.

It appears that Trump’s provocative charge of Obama and Clinton being the “co-founders of ISIS” statements made a year after the Pentagon intelligence memo’s initial release were likely the direct result of his reading the Pentagon memo and accompanying media commentary.

In June of 2016 Trump tweeted a story linking to the Pentagon memo which opened with: “Hillary Clinton received a classified intelligence report stating that the Obama administration was actively supporting Al Qaeda in Iraq, the terrorist group that became the Islamic State.” Trump said of himself concerning his accusations against Obama and Hillary made that summer: “But he’s right”.

At the time, multiple Iranian state media outlets also featured the Pentagon document, while also highlighting then candidate Trump’s statements blaming the Obama administration.

It is this past commentary that Iran will utilize to make its case that the US is to blame for the 2017 ISIS terror attacks inside Iran, which it plans to file with the international court, according to FARS News Agency. The 2012 Pentagon memo, which has since 2015 been available to the public, will likely play a central role in Iran’s presentation of the case.

Iran’s parliamentary judicial committee spokesman noted, “there is nothing more reliable than a claim raised by a country’s president.”

In the summer of 2017 Trump announced that he shut down the CIA’s covert program to train and arm anti-Assad militants in Syria after he reportedly saw a video of “CIA vetted rebels” beheading a child in Aleppo.

Do You The Truth About The Employment Numbers? It’s SHOCKING!!!

Posted: 02 Jun 2018 10:01 PM PDT

The Truth About The Employment Numbers – Nearly 102 Million Working Age Americans Do Not Have A Job Right Now

Don’t get too excited about the “good employment numbers” that you are hearing about from the mainstream media. The truth is that they actually aren’t very good at all.

For years, the federal government has been taking numbers out of one category and putting them into another category and calling it “progress”, and in this article we will break down exactly what has been happening.

We are being told that the U.S. unemployment rate has fallen to “3.8 percent”, which is supposedly the lowest that it has been “in nearly 50 years”. If these were honest numbers that would be great news. But these are not honest numbers…

Let’s take this one step at a time, and we are going to use the Federal Reserve’s own numbers.

According to the Fed, there were 6,065,000 working age Americans unemployed in May.

That would be an excellent number if it was an honest number. But of course that number does not tell the whole story.

We also have to factor in the other category of working age Americans that are not currently employed. They are not considered to be “officially unemployed” because they are considered to be “not in the labor force”.

According to the Federal Reserve, 95,915,000 working age Americans were “not in the labor force” in May.

That is an all-time record high, and this is how the federal government has been making the employment numbers look so good. The number of Americans that are “officially unemployed” keeps going down, and the number of Americans “not in the labor force” keeps going up.

When you add 6,065,000 and 95,915,000 together, you come up with a grand total of 101,980,000 working age Americans that do not have a job right now.

So we essentially have 102 million working age Americans that are not employed, and that is the same level that we had four years ago.

And back during the peak of the last recession, the number of working age Americans without a job never surpassed the 100 million mark.

That means that there are more working age Americans without a job right now than there was at any point during the last recession.

All of those economic optimists out there should chew on that number for a while.

According to John Williams of, if honest numbers were being used our unemployment rate would be somewhere around 21 percent at the moment. That is a slight improvement from the 22 percent level that we were at not too long ago, but it is not nearly good enough.

So please don’t try to convince me that the U.S. economy is “doing well” until we can get the number of working age Americans without a job under 100 million.

Meanwhile, Americans continue to spend far more money than they are making. In fact, Americans have now been spending more than they are making for 28 months in a row. The following comes from Zero Hedge

For the 28th month in a row, YoY growth in spending has outpaced incomes, sending the savings rate back down to just 2.8, the lowest since the debt-funded holiday spending spree of December 2017, and just shy of record lows.

Spending YoY is the highest since April 2017:

Adjusted for inflation, real consumption rose 0.4%, double the median projection of 0.2%. The Commerce Department said spending for gasoline and other energy goods, as well as household utilities, were leading contributors to the monthly increase in real outlays. Real durable goods spending, rose 0.3% after a 1.9% increase in the prior month; nondurable goods advanced 0.4% for a second month. Outlays on services, adjusted for inflation, rose 0.4% after a 0.3% gain in prior month.

Obviously this is not sustainable.

And in the final analysis, there is really nothing sustainable about our current economic situation. We are in the terminal phase of the greatest debt bubble that humanity has ever seen, and there are an increasing number of indications that the party is about to come to a very abrupt end.

We have never recovered from the last recession, and all of our long-term financial imbalances have continued to get even worse. For the moment, much of the country is enjoying a debt-fueled standard of living that they do not deserve, and most of them have absolutely no idea that there is no way that this state of affairs can continue for much longer.

As individuals, we simply cannot consume far more than we produce indefinitely, and the same thing is true for our nation as a whole.

Time is running out, but most Americans are completely oblivious to this very simple basic fact.

The Cognitive Dissonance Surrounding Donald Trump

Posted: 02 Jun 2018 02:15 PM PDT

The following article was written by Brandon Smith and originally published at

In general, it has always been dangerous to put blind faith in human icons of any kind; not to mention, entirely unnecessary. The maxim that one “should never meet their heroes” is something far more people should take to heart when applying elevated status to political leaders in particular. Hero worship of a celebrity is unhealthy, but hero worship of a president can be truly dangerous.

Why? Because political power relies mostly on “human capital” — the number of people within a society that are willing to support or even fight for a particular change. Swaths of citizenry can be wielded by politicians with ill intent like a weapon to create the illusion of consensus and dramatic reversals in cultural principles. These changes usually tend to involve more control for government and less freedom for the public and can last for generations.

The cult of celebrity has never been more prominent in politics than it has the past decade. Starting with Barack Obama, something changed in the American view of presidential leadership. With Obama, there was an element of naive adoration that leftists largely embraced. Obama was more than a president — he was an idol.

Unfortunately, I am also seeing some of the same behavior in elements of the conservative population when it comes to Donald Trump. There are many reasons for this.

First, Trump is one of the few presidents that was already a celebrity before running for office. His notoriety went far beyond that of someone like Ronald Reagan, who did rank as a kind of known cultural element, but certainly not an icon or idol before becoming president.

Second, Trump rode the wave of a backlash movement against the far left, which is now by every definition fully invested in cultural Marxism if not economic Marxism.

For many people, Trump represents the moment America was “saved” from imminent destruction by an insane ideology. In fact, I would say Trump’s popularity was directly proportional to the moderate public’s disgust with social justice fanatics; people who believe that sabotaging a culture from the inside, breaking it down through deliberate crisis and then replacing its core principles with their own, is an acceptable strategy.

Third, the election of 2016 was not about Donald Trump versus Hillary Clinton — it was about traditional American values versus moral relativism. At least that was how many conservatives viewed it.

Some people may argue that Trump earned his election win by bravely taking on the establishment and the hard left when no other candidate would. This rebellion remains to be seen, but the notion is powerful and people take it personally.

Trump cheerleaders react with disdain when any critical tone is applied to his behavior. In their mind, only evil leftists are critical of Trump, and if you are on the political right, then you better be toeing the line. If you are not with them, you are against them.

It’s funny; when I was writing analysis on the disturbing nature of the Bush administration, I was called a leftist. When I went after Barack Obama, I was called a “far-right extremist” and a potential racist.

Now, when investigating Trump’s odd activities, I’m back to being accused of leftist antics again. I’ve magically come full circle. When it comes to political bias, reason takes a back seat to team-based psychology.

Trump’s win, of course, had nothing to do with his validity as a candidate nor did he create his own following. His following was prepackaged. The rage against social justice and leftist absurdity was already vast. Trump was simply used as a focal point for that rage and his rhetoric tapped into the conservative psyche. He said most of the right things during his campaign; whether he actually believes in those things is another matter…

So far, his track record is not so great. One of his most vital campaign promises which appealed to the largest portion of conservatives was the idea of “draining the swamp.” What is the swamp? Trump defined it himself by going after Hillary Clinton’s contingent of elitist allies from think tank cronies to Goldman Sachs banking ghouls. This is a perfect example where Trump rhetoric does not match reality.

By Trump’s own definition, he has actually added to “the swamp” rather than draining it. Trump’s cabinet is loaded with an ensemble of elitist freaks that should have been relegated to a carnival side show.

Goldman Sachs goons like Steve Mnuchin and James Donovan lurk the halls of the White House while other Goldman alumni like Gary Cohn seem to cycle through and are replaced with other equally unsettling characters like Larry Kudlow, a former adviser to the Clintons and John Podesta as well as an economist for the Federal Reserve bank. You have Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State and a rabid supporter of mass surveillance of the American people. There’s Gina Haspel, a CIA director wrapped up in numerous torture scandals. And let’s not forget about John Bolton, National Security Adviser, Council on Foreign Relation member and one of the chief architects behind the aggressive U.S. war policy in the Middle East since George W. Bush’s administration.

I could go on and on…

Obviously, the swamp will not be drained anytime soon, if ever. But cognitive dissonance on this issue reigns supreme.

Even in the liberty movement there are those that argue that Trump is merely “playing 4-D chess,” and that his introduction of even more elites into his cabinet is somehow part of a grand scheme to “keep his enemies close.” The laughable nature of this delusion aside, the fact that some people are willing to stretch that far in their mental gymnastics to justify continued faith in Trump is a bit frightening.

I have also witnessed a growing and disturbing trend of leader worship when it comes to Trump’s pursuit of the international trade war. As I mentioned in my article ‘Trump Trade Wars A Perfect Smokescreen For A Market Crash’, tariffs are not inherently destructive and can actually be very effective in undercutting the imbalances created by globalism; they are a natural part of the conservative methodology. However, if implemented poorly, and without correct preparations, tariffs can destroy a nation’s economy.

With all the rah-rah and pom poms from the Trump devout, you would think that America’s economy is virtually invincible under his watch. I’m sorry to say that this is not the case. The fiscal instability of the US is still very much a “thing”, and nothing has improved under Trump.

Given, he has not been in office very long, but most of our economic problems cannot be solved by any one president regardless of their time in office. Those problems stem from the power of the Federal Reserve to prop up or sabotage our system at will, and the ongoing presence of elitists within our government.

Trump appears to have no intention of ever going after the Federal Reserve, and as mentioned earlier, he has invited a gang of elitists into the White House. Fiscal improvement is now impossible

Beyond the root cancer affecting our nation, Trump has not even taken the more rudimentary steps of giving corporations incentives to bring production back to America BEFORE attempting to enforce trade tariffs.

With America’s dependency on foreign production as well as the elephant in the room – America’s dependency on foreign investment in our debt and the dollar as a world reserve currency, a drawn out trade war will eventually result in severe retaliation. This means extreme price inflation on most goods due to import dependency or possible scarcity, not to mention the dumping of US Treasury bonds, the end of the petrodollar and the dumping of the dollar in bilateral trade creating even more price inflation.

America looks rather hypocritical crying foul on unbalanced trade while we benefit from the greatest trade imbalance of all time – the world reserve currency. If you think that the dollar will not be a target in the trade war, then you are gravely mistaken.

I’ve heard all the naive arguments before as to why a negative trade war outcome is supposedly impossible and countered each of them in the article linked above. But, the pressure to support Trump without taking a skeptical position is high.

I would attribute this to what I consider a psychological game being played by the establishment. As stated earlier, Trump’s political success relies entirely on the existence of continued foreign and domestic threats. As long as foreign economies are seen as receiving unfair trade advantages, and as long as the left keeps acting insane, Trump will receive blind support from many conservatives. Rather than making his administration weaker, the “Russian collusion mania,” for example, only continues to strengthen Trump’s position.

The idea that the “Deep State” is after Trump is an illusion.

On the contrary, without the perception that Trump is under constant attack, Trump becomes superfluous as a leader and conservatives will begin to question his decisions. The establishment actually helps Trump’s image by continuing the Russian farce, just as the constant (but weak) attacks by establishment controlled media made Trump a 24 hour news phenomena and propelled him into a new level of celebrity status during the election.

One could argue that perhaps the establishment is unaware of this dynamic. I think not. The manner in which they track social trends through web analytics is rather precise. Though I know it will twist the panties of quite a few people, I would suggest that the establishment PREFERS to have a Trump administration in place.

Look at it this way: Conservatives will cry foul for the remainder of Trump’s first term all based on the false premise that Trump is going to be “impeached” or sabotaged at any given moment. I remember all the claims before the election when I predicted a Trump win that the establishment would never allow him to enter the Oval Office. After his election, the same people argued that he would never make it to the inauguration. Now, they argue that the so-called deep state is going to try to bring Trump down before he reaches the end of his first term. And as long as Trump continues to stick around, there are those that argue that he is “defeating the deep state” with his magnificent strategic prowess. You see, the cognitive dissonance circle is infinite.

Few people appear to be considering the possibility that Trump is exactly where the establishment wants him to be; that the Trump administration is loaded with the very same swamp creatures he railed against during his campaign and that these elitists are the true power in the White House, not Trump.

Let me say this as clearly as possible — presidents do not matter. They do not matter in terms of any important change in American society. Those great changes are always made either by a contingent of free people fighting relentlessly for good, or by a contingent of power mongers manipulating the halls of government from behind the scenes. In the end, like most other presidents, Trump is irrelevant, unless you view him as a pied piper leading conservatives down a terrible path.

The danger of Trump, if followed blindly, is threefold.

First, the more conservatives tie themselves to his administration, the more they leave themselves vulnerable if and when his administration sinks into infamy. For example, the Federal Reserve has been avidly pulling the plug on its decade long artificial support of stocks and bond markets. Continued interest rate hikes and balance sheet cuts will ultimately crash those markets, and this will happen before the end of Trump’s first term if the Fed continues at its current pace.

Trump may very well be the next Hoover, as I have warned time and time again since his election. A conservative president presiding over an economic catastrophe that developed long before he ever entered office, but still blamed for the consequences. In the case of Trump, it will be conservative ideals and policies that are demonized most of all, leading to renewed public support for another FDR (i.e., another hardcore communist president).

Second, Trump’s trade war activities continue to provide perfect cover and distraction on a monthly basis for the Fed’s balance sheet dumps and interest rate hikes. Every time stocks drop dramatically, very few people blame the fed’s activities and all attention shifts to Trump. I see a narrative building already, one that hides all central bank guilt in the degradation of the economy. The more conservatives support a badly planned trade war, the more they will be seen as complicit in an economic crash that actually started over a decade ago.

Third, if Trump is meant to become a war hawk president as the introduction of John Bolton to his cabinet suggests, then conservatives may very well repeat the mistakes they made years ago when they fervently supported the Bush administration and the Iraq War. This time, though, America will not economically or philosophically survive another unjustified or ill-considered war. Not with Iran, North Korea or any other nation for that matter. Once again, true conservatives could have the tragedies produced by war wrapped around their necks if they do not apply critical thought to Trump as they do with most other issues.

And this is the solution to the problem. It is very simple; just treat Trump as you would any other politician, remove all bias and examine him under a microscope in the light of day. The more conservatives openly criticize Trump where it is warranted, the less the establishment is able to chain us to any disasters that happen under his watch. With the cabinet of grim elitist figures surrounding him from day to day, it is the only logical recourse.

“I Arrived In Brazil In The Middle Of The Zombie Apocalypse…”

Posted: 02 Jun 2018 01:52 PM PDT

Brain Winter, Editor-in-Chief of Americas Quarterly, has just returned from a week in Brazil, and what he describes is incredible

The once unthinkable is now becoming normal…

SÃO PAULO – I arrived here on Sunday in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Or so it seemed. A nationwide truckers’ strike was in its seventh day and 99 percent of São Paulo’s service stations had run out of gasoline. The roads of South America’s biggest city were deserted of cars and people, and the skies were a murky gray. The normally hellish drive from the airport, which often lasts two hours or more, took a disconcerting 23 minutes.

Up on Avenida Paulista, the city’s closest thing to a public square, things seemed more normal – at first. Huge crowds milled about, vendors were grilling beef and sausage, and girls in hot pink roller skates clomped by. A quadruple amputee was belting out the falsetto ending of Pearl Jam’s “Black” to an enthralled crowd. The sun was out now, and families sat at wooden tables with sweaty buckets of beer, laughing. Of course, I mused, Brazilians are going to make a party out of a bad situation. I bought a can of Skol and decided to join the fun.

Then I saw it. A huge banner, spanning the entire avenue, carried by a group of protesters:

And that was the start of a week where I saw and heard things I never believed I would in Brazil.

The Brazil of mid-2018 is a frightened, leaderless, shockingly pessimistic country. It is a country where four years of scandal, violence and economic destruction have obliterated faith in not just President Michel Temer, not just the political class, but in democracy itself. It is a country where there will be elections in October, but most voters profess little faith in any of the candidates. Given that vacuum, many Brazilians – perhaps 40 percent of them, according to a new private poll circulating among worried politicians – believe the military should somehow act to restore order. Amid this week’s strike, the clamor became so loud that both Temer and a senior military official had to publicly deny the possibility of an imminent coup.

This was all unquestionably good news for the presidential candidate most identified with the armed forces, retired Army captain Jair Bolsonaro, who was already running first in polls. Many analysts expect him to rise further after this week’s events.

It’s a red alert for anyone else – foreign investors and ordinary Brazilians alike – with the old-fashioned belief that healthy civilian institutions are the key to long-term prosperity, or who still hold out hope that Brazil’s economy and political outlook might finally stabilize this year.

When I lived in Brazil as a reporter from 2010 to 2015, I heard hardly anyone defend military rule – at least out loud.

The last dictatorship, which ran from 1964-85, left behind a legacy of debt, hyperinflation, falling wages and human rights abuses. Yet unlike Chile and Argentina, Brazilian soldiers were never judged for their crimes – and never fell into abject disgrace.

So today, with Brazil at the forefront of a global backlash against “elites” and institutions, the military is increasingly perceived as the only credible vehicle for change. Polls show the armed forces are by far the country’s most respected institution (the press is a distant second). A year ago, 38 percent of Brazilians told the Pew Research Center that military rule would be “good for the country.” That number is surely higher now.

The truckers’ strike started on May 21 after a government-sanctioned hike in diesel prices, but quickly grew into something much bigger. On WhatsApp groups and elsewhere, striking truckers shared videos and other messages calling for an end to Temer’s government.

One cited by Estado de S.Paulo read:“Victory is near! Truckers + the people x legality x legitimacy = the fall of the Brazilian Bastille! Let’s not weaken. Come on, National Security Forces!”

On Wednesday, the phrase intervenção militar was being mentioned on Twitter at a pace of 515 times per minute, according to one study. Smelling blood, many truckers continued to block roads even after a deal was truck with Temer to bring diesel prices back down.

By this point, supermarkets around the country were running out of basic goods, and half of Brazilians had to change their daily routines because of lack of fuel, according to a Datafolha poll. Yet that same poll showed the strikers had the support of a whopping 87 percent of the population.

Why? I spoke to many protesters on Avenida Paulista, and others over the course of the week. Many drew a direct link between the diesel price hike and corruption at Petrobras, the state-owned oil company at the heart of Brazil’s “Car Wash” corruption scandal.

“Of course the politicians raise prices so they can steal more money!” one middle-aged woman told me. Virtually everyone thought that anything bad for Temer – the first Brazilian president ever to be charged with a crime while in office, and who has an approval rating of 5 percent – must be good for the country.

Still others insisted democracy had proven an ineffective tool to fight street crime, corruption and general disorder. I found myself arguing about this with a salesman in his sixties who had lived through the last military regime.

“I didn’t like the dictatorship,” he replied, “but right now, come on, não é muita democracia? Don’t we have too much democracy?”

Polite society, especially in the big cities, continues to insist such voices are a minority. But I also spent part of the week among politicians, and just beneath their sunny bravado was a dark sentiment I could only describe as “end of days.”

One group was discussing how the military commanders weren’t interested in taking power, but the rank-and-file was obviously restless. I heard of one recent instance in which a general approached a well-known politician to urge him to run for president and “save the country.”

“I don’t think a majority of Brazilians want a coup,” a prominent political analyst told me, “but if it did happen, the people would probably support it.”

In truth, a traditional coup with tanks in the streets is almost unthinkable – a “relic of the 20th century,” as one military leader put it this week. In the 21st century, when democracy erodes, it almost always happens via the ballot box.

Bolsonaro has vowed if elected to appoint military officials to key cabinet positions, roll back human rights provisions and give security forces “carte blanche” to kill suspected criminals, among other measures.

Gen. Joaquim Silva e Luna, whom Temer appointed as Brazil’s first non-civilian defense minister in February, told Bloomberg News last week that he welcomed Bolsonaro’s candidacy. “Brazil is looking for someone with values … and they consider that the armed forces have these attributes,” he said. Why bother with a coup, when there are easier ways to gain power?

This week also brought a counterreaction of sorts from elsewhere in Brazilian society: There were signs of the left and some interesting pro-business bedfellows coalescing around Ciro Gomes, a former finance minister and governor.

Elsewhere, leaders from the beleaguered center-right Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB) were looking carefully at polls to decide whether to abandon Geraldo Alckmin as their presidential candidate and go with an “outsider” figure like João Doria instead. But overall, there was little sign of any political consensus that could bring the difficult reforms and bold investments that Brazil needs to recapture the promise it showed last decade.

Instead, society seems entirely focused on tearing down existing structures, without much thought to what comes next. Perhaps surprisingly, the most lucid comment to that effect came from President Temer, at a press conference for foreign journalists.

“Every 20 or 30 years in Brazil, there’s an attempt to reinvent things … to destroy what is there and build a new order,” he said.

He’s right. And for that, Brazilian politicians can largely blame themselves.
