The Qiachun detachment in Guiyang, capital of southwest China’s Guizhou Province, is one of China’s most complex interconnections.

The complicated tangle consists of five levels, 20 ramps going in eight different directions stacked over five layers. With its highest elevation of 55 meters, the detour has been dubbed a super “rollercoaster”.

Construction began in 2009 and the project was completed on May 31 of the same year.
