- Malu de Asistthis is not cool, this is terrible. These hardworking professionals were made to dress like Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders! How did they get any work done? Thank God, we show more respect to our flight attendants now.

You are what is wrong with the world, but luckily now in 2021, you are becoming the minority. You shouldn’t judge a woman in what they wear, you should judge the men who take advantage of women. - Mike Perryhere is a photo of the southwestern uniforms of the time 1972 , as you see they’re different because of the different climate areas the company worked and the photo you shared of the other air stewards is from the 1960s not the 1970s

- Rosanne PalmieriMalu de Asis it wasn’t just stewardesses, (not flight attendants) we all dressed in hot pants, mini skirts and knee high boots. It was the style of dress at the time. Look up nancy Sinatra’s song, “These boots are made for walking” it’s a good example of how we dressed.

- Malu de AsisGabriele Bis were you a SW flight attendant and do you speak for all flight attendants? I sincerely doubt “all of you” were happy to be forced to dress like this by a sexist dress code. Were you also happy to be grounded when u gained weight or got pregnant?

- Alex ClarkRather common female dress for attractive women in the early 1970s. Americans were generally much more fit back then.

- Eric ShayerMalu de Asis there is no judgment on that picture. Just a snapshot that represents well the culture from 70s. That is what was thought to be cool. Of course this is not acceptable anymore. But yeap, that tells a lot about the 70s
