The Mount Soputan volcano on Indonesia’s Sulawesi island has erupted, sending ash three kilometres into the sky. There were no reports of casualties and the ash was not considered a threat to aviation. The alert level for the volcano remains at one notch above normal.

The incandescent lava was ejected during the eruption. It has quickly cooled and not seen by the naked eye now.
It is NOT lava overflowing.
This event is just another short time eruption and I’m not shocked of surprised. Remain calm. It was spectacular of course. It does remind us of Agungs potential. The monitoring continues ….
