Q: Can someone show me solid proof of the earth being a round planet and not flat, other than NASA and their photos?

A: Sure. Here is one.

“Wait, isn’t that a NASA photo?” I hear you say.

Heck no! It’s an European Space Agency (ESA) photo. We can build our own space crafts on this side of the pond, thankyouverymuch.

Specifically the picture was taken by the Rosetta spacecraft on its way to visit comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, using the OSIRIS camera, and is in true colour. The photo was taken on November 13th 2007, as the spacecraft came back to Earth for its final gravity assist maneuver that would take it out to its target comet.
