Prime Minister of St Vincent and The Grenadines Dr Ralph Gonzalves has been injured amid a major protest now under way in the capital, Kingstown.
The prime minister was hit on the head with a stone.
The protest is against changes to the Public Health Act that would make COVID-19 vaccination mandatory.
Vaccination against other illnesses that trigger a public health emergency would also be mandatory.

    O dr. Gonsalves descende de madeirenses que no século XIX foram para São Vicente e Granadinas. Razão para o Presidente da República Portuguesa, o Governo e as autoridades regionais se interessarem pelo seu estado.
