03. – POSSIBLE ERUPTION IN THE SANTA BARBARA VOLCANO ON THE ISLAND OF TERCEIRA IN AZORES?. – CONFIRMED VERTICAL DEFORMATION, THERE IS CONTRIBUTION OF MAGMA IN DEPTH. – 29/06/2018 – 15:45h – Canary Islands. – A lot of seismicity, but so far nothing else, but things are changing on this island of the Azores, in fact by rising the Volcanic Surveillance Alert Level to V3 (high yellow) on the Santa Barbara Volcano and V1 on the ridge that crosses the island.
Therefore it is confirmed that something else happens, and I have already found it, it is the presence of a vertical deformation under the Santa Barbara volcano, small but significant, which translates to that new magma is entering under the island and accumulating in a camera or Reservoir, swelling like I say the ground.
